Potted Chicken over Veggies
(by Sue Kraus)
Start with cut up potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot. Add a layer of cut up onions. I then add 6 to 8 sun dried tommatoes, depending on size for added flavor. Next I added some green peppers from our garden, again for some added flavor.
On top of the veggies I cover with the chicken breasts, seasoned with coarse sea salt and black peppercorns (in a grinder). Then to top everything off I use a can of mushroom soup.
Prep time is about 15 minutes and your done!
Cook all day on low then sit down and eat!
Bon Appetit!
That sounds delicious. Too bad I won't take the time to make it. Sure wish I had friends that liked to cook living close by. Have you thought about moving to New York?
ReplyDeleteHow about you moving to Missouri Susan!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE MY CROCK POT!
ReplyDeleteDocSue, it only takes 15 minutes to prep. It cooks on its own.
Prep Peg? If you can't open a cardboard box and place it into the microwave or add water to a microwaveable cup of Ramen Soup, there will be no prep happening in my kitchen. Sad really, 'cause I have a nice crock pot and a beautiful ceramic top stove which I dust on occasion :)
