Well look who showed up in our back yard this week, a snapping turtle. I was out cutting the lawn when I saw Morgan leap up off the deck and bolt down to the back of the yard. All I could see was something brown and low to the ground moving slowly by her. An hour later he was gone. I guess he walked over to the big pond for an afternoon swim.Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Well look who showed up in our back yard this week, a snapping turtle. I was out cutting the lawn when I saw Morgan leap up off the deck and bolt down to the back of the yard. Nice turtle. How do you know it was a "he"? Don't tell me you flipped "it" over to inspect "its" parts???
