Fun with branding.

As some of you may know, I got a new job. It gets me out of the house 20 hours a week and I get to be creative again. My title is Brand Print Mgr. for the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center.
Today I went around town and added our Warrensburg brand to Old Drum, Blind Boone, and yes, Missy Morgan.
My job is to get the local community and businesses to use the brand as much as possible. I thought I would have some fun and challenge them to a contest in June to see what they can come up with as well.

  1. OK, let the marketing ideas begin. Did you add the brand onto the Wikipedia site for Warrensburg? How about bumper stickers, decals, pencils, DOG Bandanas with the logo? The possibilities are endless. Let's see, embroidered onto the high school and college team uniforms (sports, band), police and fire department patches.... should I go on?

  3. Now, you didn't think I'd stop now! What about adding the names of famous people who were/are from Warrensburg or went to school there on the backs of the brands? They would become collectibles! Like Dale Carnegie, Martin Warren, Kimberly Wyatt, Grant Curtis, David Cook just to name a few. Hmmm. Maybe the brands can be turned into tokens, given out at your county fairs! Somebody stop me!!!!!!! By the way, am I eligible to win the contest? And the prize? A large personalized brand to hang over the door to the business or winning organization.

  5. I'm thinking that you can now itemize your computer, internet charges and all other related expenses on next year's tax return. Work related costs!!!
