My niece Mary.
My nephew Karl.
On Wednesday Karl and Mary made the 12 hour trek from Ohio to spend the Thanksgiving holidays with us. Little did they know what was in store for them. Thursday was the big holiday meal at Tom and Diane's house.
Big smile as Tom carves the turkey.
Diane shows off all the good eats for dinner.
Nancy wants her photo stiring the gravy as she does every year so people think she did all the cooking.
Diane and I made Pilgram hats for the table with name tags.
The best part was after dinner you could eat the hat!
After dinner some of us went over to the barn to check out the farm and some of those green tractors.
Mary and Karl share a love of the big green tractor.
Karl checking out all the equipment.

And the BIG questions is... did someone shoot the turkey for Thanksgiving dinner or was it a store bought bird?
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Pilgrim hats!!
ReplyDeleteThis year the turkey came from the store.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that next year, Mary will be there for the start of turkey hunting season. Then you'll have yourselves a nice fresh bird for the Thanksgiving feast.
ReplyDeleteLove the Pilgrim hats - what a cute idea! We have to make a trip out to MO soon, you guys have too much fun!!
