Bonfire, hot dogs, and smores on the last night of spring break in the country.

Hello Nancy, I have a cow in my front yard!!!!!!!!!

Nancy answers the phone only to find out that Diane is home alone and has a cow on her front lawn. She can't find Tom or Travis so we get a phone call to send Travis a text. This calf found his way out of the pasture thru an unlocked gate down the road at Henry's house.

(It's not every day you get a call like this.)

We have a stare down for a few minutes when along comes Tom.

He takes action by jumping on the four wheeler and leading the calf back to the pasture.

Down the road they go with Allis in the lead showing the calf the way home.

Quilt in a night.

Diane's class, quilt in a night at the rec. center Friday night was a big hit.

If you have been following the blog from the start you may remember I started my quilt last October. The photo does not show the trure color of my quilt. It still needs a border sewn on and then a backing fabric. I will get it done this year, right Diane?

How does your garden grow.

We are starting some seeds for the 2010 garden this spring.

The lettuce has already started to sprout and we have also statred some sweet potatoes in jars to plant when it warms up.
