Bones, pelts, and feathers.

Shadow has been draging dead things from the neighbors land behind our house for the last two weeks. First it was part of a turkey, feathers all over the yard. This week a deer pelt complete with a deer leg in the front yard and one in the back. We have bones of all shapes and sizes everwhere on the lawn. Morgan enjoys one on the front lawn. YUK!
When will the carnage end!

Valentines Day Oops!

If you look close all the words on these conversation hearts are in spanish except for the one in the middle.
I was in a hurry and saw this bag of hearts at Walgreens so I did a grab and go.
Nancy opened the bag today only to find out they are all in espanol.
Oh well, I should get points for trying, right?
Happy Valentines Day to all our blog followers!

Super Bowl Party Mo style. Saints X Colts 2010

It's a Super Bowl party complete with a giant football sandwich, shrimp salad, Jimmy Dean sausage dip, veggies, chips, dips, and more.
Nancy and Diane even made homemade Beignets for a lil Narlens flavor.
Football cake and cookies were also on the menu. A good time was had by all!

Country snowman.

We got a wet snow storm this weekend so Morgan and I made a mini snowman for the deck.

Puppy Bowl or Garden Bowl 2010?

Allis calls the play, Gwen will throw the pass to Morgan.
Morgan is in position and ready to run.

Morgan takes off with the ball with Allis and Gewn ready to block.
Go dogs go!

Good job! Morgan makes the touchdown!
Yeah!

Busted!

Allis is seen here trying to lift the pinecones I put on the tree Saturday for the birds. I used some bacon grease I had in a can and spread it on the cones, then I rolled them in bird seed. After Christmas we did the same thing only using peanut butter. I blamed Shadow for taking some of them off the tree before, however today I think we found the little thief!

Downy Woodpecker.

This little guy came by today to hang out and have some lunch.

Pancakes anyone?

Patti gave us this pan for Christmas and we used it on Sunday for breakfast.
It has four zoo animals for making pancakes.
They were a little hard to make as Nancy burnt a batch or two.
Shadow got a set for himself to eat, then layed down on the deck and took a nap.
